dürfen (3 sg darf) may
empfinden feel, experience
können (3 sg kann) can
sprechen, gesprochen speak
darüber over, concerning this
m.E (meines Erachtens) in my opinion (N.B. for Greek students, this is a genitive absolute)
jeder every
letzt last
manchmal many times
richtig right
vorletzt before-the-last, next-to-the-last
schnell fast, quickly
typo on “is” m.E. kein Christ, should be “ist”
Whoever wants to be and to feel from a New Testament perspective too quickly and too directly, is in my opinion no Christ. We have often spoken about it and every day confirms to me that it is correct. One cannot and may not speak the last word before the next to last word. We live in the second to last, and believe in the last, isn’t that right?
Thanks for the sharp eyes. I think I have been making the mistake of composing in Word, then pasting. I think this may have been an autocorrect. I also need to follow Judy’s advice and change the keyboard setting to German. (See Judy’s comment on the post “Snake Eyes”)
ein Christ is a Christian; Christ is Christus; the German uses the Latin form here.
Ach schade! Well a Christian is a little Christ after all, no? 😉
Ja Wohl!
