Was heißt nun “religiös” interpretieren”?

Was heißt nun “religiös” interpretieren”?
What do we mean by “religious” interpretation?
In my opinion on one hand it means talking metaphysically and on the other individualistically. Neither comes close to the Biblical message nor to impacting (post)modern man.
Hasn’t the individualistic question of personal salvation disappeared from all our thinking? Are we not honestly under the impression that there are more important issues at stake than this question? (Maybe not more important than the issue, but more important than the question)
I know it is pretty outrageous to suggest such an opnion. But when all is boiled down, isnt this actually Biblical? Does the OT even conceive of such a question as salvation?
Aren’t justice and the kingdom of God on earth the central focus point of everything that goes on? Furthermore isn’t the aim of Paul’s thinking in Rom 3: 24 ff to show that God alone is righteous and not one individualistic doctrine of salvation?
It isn’t all about the other world (New Heavens and Earth?) but about this world and how it was created, is sustained, ordered by rules, redeemed and renewed. the Gospel seeks to bring to the world that which is beyond it; I’m not talking in the anthropological sense of liberal, mystic, pietist, ethical theology, but in the Biblical sense of the creation, the incarnation, and the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ
I haven’t checked this.. what do others think?
